Trip to Leander

We went down to Leander (north of Austin) this weekend to see Aunt Casey and Uncle Steven's new house! So cute and perfect or their first house and we know they are so happy to get out of their apartment!!! They threw a great house warming party on Sat. night and we got to spend time with all of Jon's family!

"Random" Park Playdate!

Those of you who were there, know how "random" it was =) Great times at Mustang Park this morning! We had to take some towels b/c of the rain but the kids had a blast playing. They even saw a firetruck and ambulance pass!

Little Fish

We went swimming at our community pool this afternoon and sent Caiden down the yellow slide for the first time! He did okay but flipped around both times so he came out head first and upside down so that scared him! Jon would go to the top with him and

I waited in the water at the bottom. He had more fun the the big pool with us jumping in from the side of the pool!

Since it was such a hot day, we decided to head over to our friends house after we got done with the yard work and went swimming again (yep, Caiden will sleep good tonight!!) I'm actually getting really scared to be around water with the little guy because he just takes off and jumps in. He can swim and make progress kicking and moving his arms but still can't get his face above the water. As soon as he makes it to the step or one of our arms, he pushes/jumps off and goes under again. He was under more than above water tonight! Mrs. Stephanie will be so proud of him when he has another lesson next week!

"Happy Thursday"

We found a great deal (thanks Craig's list!) on this playset so Caiden got a "Happy Thursday" surprise! He loves it!!!

New Adventures...

Today I had the privilege of watching an expensive embroidery machine be installed at the home of a "business partner" of mine! I am flying to St. Louis on Monday for training!

Movie Time!

We took Caiden to his very first movie at the theater! We went to the $1 ($2 for adults) showing at the Movie Studio Grill. Caiden didn't too well sitting and watching the movie although he did watch several parts! He had more fun eating his french fries, Gushers, his sucker, and drinking out of a straw. Not to mention, we went to the bathroom at least 4 times!

The Cabin 2009

Our trip to Beaver's Bend in Broken Bow, OK was a success once again. We only stayed 4 nights this year and it is not near long enough. But, we enjoyed every minute we had! Chilet and I took the boys on the train again while the big boys golfed. We found a fun swimming hole off of Broken Bow Lake and spent two mornings swimming in the freezing water! Caiden and Austin had a blast roasting marshmallows and going on walks at night with their glowsticks and walking sticks!

We had some fireworks of our own and Caiden got to do sparklers and poppers for the first time. He loved it (and the cake afterwards!)

Aunt TT came with her broken leg and Caiden kissed it everyday to make it better. He got to snuggle in bed with her each night and read books too. She couldn't do a lot of the activities we did, but she was a good sport and we loved having her there!

We can't wait to go back and are already talking about going up for a 3 day weekend this fall!
