Josh Abbott Band at Southern Junction

When we saw Josh Abbott Band at the Ballpark with EYB, we knew we wanted to see them again.  So, when they announced they were coming to Southern Junction, we all got tickets!  We celebrated Valentine's Day a day late (even though I hate celebrating V-day!)  We had reserved seats and were super close to the stage, got to dance a little, and had a wonderful steak dinner.  Great night out with friends!

Valentine's Day

I was able to surprise Ashlyn at her Valentine's Day party at LAP...I loved seeing her with her friends at school and she had fun showing me her songs and how much of a big girl she is!  We went to the Tibbals school dance that night (Daddy had a basketball tournament).  We danced, visited with friends, took some silly pictures, and ate cookies (again!)  I'm not a huge Valentine's Day fan, but it was a fun day!

Fall Basketball-TPW

I did a horrible job taking pictures of Caiden's first basketball season but it was a fun season non the less!  TPW (Tough People Win) unfortunately played with no wins, but are learning the fundamentals of the game.  They improved with each game and did a great job for a team of first year players!  Jon is coaching them again in the Spring so maybe we'll pull out a win or two!

Four Seasons

Jon completed the Four Season half marathon challenge running his last marathon in 30 degree drizzly weather.  Not exactly a pleasant ending, but he did and and we are so proud of him.  He finished 4 half marathons in a one year period and got awarded the Four Seasons medal at the last race.  This unfortunately will be a hobby he goes at alone as I will never run more than a 5K!

Caiden's 7th birthday!

Caiden got a special birthday dinner with the Allen firemen & a private ride on their firetruck given to him by Bebe and Poppy.  He was able to take a few friends and they had a great time!  The rode through the city and got to talk on the headphones!  The firemen made us dinner and the boys loved every minute of the experience!

On Caiden's actual birthday, we went to Amazing Jake's with the family (and Stewards) for pizza and games.  It's a place FULL of germs but Caiden had a blast!!!

Caiden took a bunch of his boys to the movies to see Walking with Dinosaurs (he figured this should be a "boys only" event) for his party this year.  He had a few rather exciting few days of celebrating!!!
