Christmas Day!

A little picture recap of our morning...family time is priceless!

I Will Take You For Ride in My Big Green Tractor

Santa was good! Caiden got his Big Green Tractor that he was so confident he would get! He was such a happy camper when he walked out into the living room!

Checkin' out his new ride with Daddy and Poppy

He LoVeS his "gator tractor"

After some of the snow melted, we went out to the field across from our house and Caiden got to take a ride in his big green tractor. This has been the theme song of his life for the past year, so his new tractor fits his life perfectly!

A White Christmas!!!

Seriously...75 degrees on Wednesday and today...SNOW! So crazy-that's Texas weather for ya! Here are some captured moments from our Winter Wonderland Christmas Eve excitement.
The front and backyard!

We started the evening out going to Bebe and Poppy's house and enjoyed Poppy's homemade vegetable soup. Perfect dinner for such a cold evening! We each got to open one present (plus the envelopes on the tree!) and then we headed back to our house so we could watch The Polar Express and get ready for Santa!

Getting ready for the big night watching The Polar Express!

Time for reindeer food! It was FREEZING outside!

Putting out the milk and cookies...

Grandma came to spend the night!!!

The Green Vest Visits the Gaylord Texan

I just love my new green vest I so I decided to wear it again to put myself in a festive mood and we headed out to the Gaylord Texan. Holy cow-way too many people! But, it was nice to get out and see some great holiday decorations!

Probably the 50th attempt at getting a good family pic. The kid always looks away or puts on a really fake smile!

Jon, Caiden, Bebe, and Poppy watching the trains. Those of you who really know Caiden, know he loves trains so this was a big hit for him. If only we had room to set up a train track like the one at the Gaylord! Pretty amazing!

Making our gingerbread house...thanks Bebe and Poppy! Not the easiest task. We didn't "massage" the icing bag and had very runny icing when we started so we lost half of our candy due to it sliding off the sides of the house. Precisely at that moment, Caiden realized the candy should be going into his mouth! We finally realized the problem and the candy started sticking! Not the best house, but we sure had fun at our attempt!

One more day until Santa comes!!!
