Thanksgiving 2013

Caiden at his Thanksgiving school lunch!

Thanksgiving meal #1 at Bebe and Poppy's with the Emmons' family too!!!

Thanksgiving meal #2 in Taylor at Aunt Kimmy's house!

We took the kids to see Jon's dad this trip.  It was the first time either of them had been to the cemetery and although they may not fully understand, it meant a lot to Jon to have us all there with him.

Camping in the Open

We had the BEST camping trip on a 60 acre ranch and now I want land!  We were invited to tag along with the Fain family to their family's ranch and it was hands down one of our favorite trips.  We parked the campers/tents by a stocked pond and learned that Caiden loves to fish!  The young boys learned how to shoot guns and so did I.  My first go at it was with Grandaddy's 22...and I hit the target (a paper plate across the pond!)  The kids were the perfect age to play together and were plenty entertained even without electricity!  We were blessed with wonderful weather and introduced to a whole new world of camping!  Can't wait to go back, or to someone else's private property, or to get our own land.

EYB-FINALLY!!!

Finally, the concert I had been waiting for, FOREVER.  Great opening acts by Eastin Corbin, Thompson Square, The Josh Abbott Band.  We were at the first stand alone concert at The Ballpark in Arlington and had a great time!  Eli Young Band put on a great show and I want to see them again soon!!!  I love going to concerts!!!

Gotta have a Nike in the mix.

Boy Scouts

Caiden joined Boy Scouts this year and is loving it!  He has gotten to learn how to shoot a bow & arrow and bebe gun, bicycle safety, go on a hike, take a trip to Heritage Farmstead and just be a boy!  He absolutely loves spending time with his buddies and earning all of his belt loops!

Halloween!

Halloween Fun!  The kids go to go Trunk or Treating at Tibbals and at church, plus Trick or Treating, so they ended up with A LOT of candy!  We carved pumpkins with daddy (because he had to miss out on Halloween this year), decorated cookies, and A had a party/costume parade at school!  Caiden still isn't a fan of touching the inside of the pumpkin, but Ashlyn dove right in!  Shocker!
