Cowboys Stadium

Super fun day at the Cowboys Stadium with the Stewards! Season ticket holders are invited in for a day and we were lucky enough to tag along! Caiden and Austin had a BLAST running on the field playing football with their new Cowboys footballs. Ashlyn was fascinated with the huge football she called, "a ball" and loved her ladybug bracelet she got from the balloon lady. We toured the locker room & press conference room and relaxed in the VIP area where the players enter the field. SO much FUN!

He's Growing Up

Caiden is a registered kindergarten student! I'm SO excited to have him at school with me next year and can't wait to watch him learn & grow each and everyday! Very thankful the path I'm on will let me be close to my babies in elementary school!

Easter Morning

Writing the Easter Bunny a note on Saturday night!

This was the first time in a LONG time (maybe ever) that we didn't make it to church on Easter Sunday. The timing with Ashlyn's nap, sister's flight, and no Sunday School just made it a little too challenging (so we watched Joel Osteen on TV!) The kids enjoyed the morning with Aunt TT before she had to leave and both LOVED their new Eric Carle animals and books! Love that tradition! The Easter Bunny was sneaky and left eggs with money for Caiden to hunt and Ashlyn had a blast watching Caiden blow bubbles with their new bubble guns! Such a fun, relaxing, and blessed morning!

Easter Dinner with Mimi

Tiffany's flight was early afternoon on Easter so we had an early Easter dinner on Sat. night with Mimi. The kids dyed eggs (well, Ashlyn watched!) for everyone and Ashlyn learned how to say Mimi! The meal was fantastic-love that mom always cooks!

WUMC Egg Hunt

Ashlyn was still asleep when it was time for pictures with the Easter Bunny but it was just as well; she wouldn't have liked it very much! Caiden did MUCH better at this egg hunt...we had several serious conversations teaching him egg hunting strategies!

Easter Party at Bebe and Poppy's

We went to Bebe and Poppy's neighborhood for an early Easter Party. Although the balloon snake daddy made popped in the grass (the line was too long to wait for one from the balloon lady) and Caiden only got two eggs in the egg hunt (he needed to look in the eggs each time he picked them up-learned his lesson fast!!!) we had a good time with Bebe and Poppy and decorating cookies. Ashlyn missed her nap but did pretty well in her egg hunt (although she was more interested in opening the eggs right away only to find the candy-fortunately, the others in her age group weren't quick to snatch up all the eggs!)

Quick Hunt with Friends!

We decided to get the kids together for a quick egg hunt on Wednesday afternoon. They need a little practice before the "real" egg hunts!

We Played Hooky...

...and went to the zoo with Tiffany, Reagan, and Hudson! Weather was great and there was hardly a crowd (minus the bees!) We decided to get the annual family passes so we'll be back all summer! Ashlyn's favorite was the bunny and Caiden couldn't get enough pictures of him riding on the statue animals!
