We were so, so, so ready to go camping again! It was a little warm during the days but he shade (and air conditioner not tripping the breaker every 5 minutes) made it do-able! Caiden and I got to go on the Kovitch's boat for a little while on Sat. while Jon and Ashlyn took a nap. It was a nice relaxing weekend and we're ready for another free weekend once it gets a little colder!

First Game Ball of the Season!
Caiden was SOOOO excited when Coach Kris announced that he was the winner of the first gameball this season. (He got the last game ball in the Fall so this is a huge improvement!) He made some great stops at shortstop and it was a very proud moment for him!
Caiden's First Lost Tooth
Well, it wasn't how I envisioned Caiden loosing his first tooth, but nonetheless, it's out and he's super excited about the tooth fairy! We went in to the dentist thinking he would possibly have to have a root canal and he came home with his molar in a box! I guess it was the best of the two options, but now the poor kid has a hole until the permanent tooth comes in...and keep in mind, it wasn't remotely close to being loose so this will take several years!
He was a CHAMP and made it through the entire procedure with flying colors. Thank goodness Daddy was able to take off of work...I wouldn't have done well watching them yank it out!
We found a super cute glow in the dark tooth that holds your teeth until the tooth fairy comes to replace it with $$$. Caiden and I slept upstairs (it was a pallet night and Daddy was at football). He woke up so excited that the tooth fairy had actually come and at that point decided she really was real! Since it was a forced pull from the dentist, the tooth fairy was generous and surprised Caiden with $5!
