Field Day!

After a surprise case of strep throat with both kiddos, Caiden made it back to school on Friday for his first day Field Day!  I only made it outside to watch a few of the water events but he had a great time!  At the end of the day, I asked him what his favorite station was.  "13"  Not exactly what I was expecting.  Little stinker has a good memory!

Senior Reunion!

My first group of third graders are seniors this year!  I got to see a few of them at their elementary senior reunion.  I absolutely was amazed at how much they have changed!!  It was so fun seeing them and finding out what their plans after high school are!

Relay For Life

The Wylie/Sachse/Murphy Relay For Life was on May 10th.  Not only did we raise money and have a school team, we were able to support Sophie while she walked in the SURVIVOR lap!  She was the youngest and of course cutest little thing out there and it was amazing to see her walk this lap of victory.  She had a huge crowd of Tibbals fans cheering her on and the night was a success!  Our school raised over $2,000 that will go to the American Cancer Society!  

New Camper

Wahoo...we finally upgraded from the pop-up to a hard shell camper!  And, we LOVE it!  Our first trip was in the driveway!!!  We had to unload from the pop-up and organize all of it so we just camped at home!  A few weekends later, we actually made it to Lake Lavon!  It was a quick weekend trip but we loved every minute of it!

Easter

The kids go to go to two egg hunts this year.  One at mom and dad's clubhouse and the other at the church.  They both did much better than last year and actually got more than one egg...they learned to look in the eggs AFTER the hunt is over!  Easter morning was very relaxing...the Easter Bunny was super nice and brought Caiden and Ashlyn their traditional book and stuffed animal again!  We had a nice Easter meal with Mimi and Bebe made the famous bunny cake!
