Some Things Do Change...

Last night we went to my 10 year high school reunion at Celebrations in Highland Village. It was so strange to see so many people I hadn't seen since the days at Marcus High School. I was reunited with several good friends (the Pantino's gang, Megan who I beat Mario 3 with, Josh who came to SFA for several years, Mandi Kubicek-one part of the Mandi/Mandy story, the Goff twins-yes, I'm still in trouble for giving away an autographed picture of Steve Young, and many more!) and we spent a lot of the night hanging out with part of the old neighborhood gang (Courtney, Brian and I wanted to go play Ghost Ghost in the Graveyard or go roll someone's house but we figured we'd get shot!)

I was pleasantly surprised that people really had changed and although people seemed to still hang out with the same crowd, most everyone was very social and made their rounds to say hi. Ten years really does make a difference!

We missed having Julie with us but we stopped by to see their newest addition to the family before we went to the reunion. So cute and she's doing GREAT for having a newborn and a 2 year old! We also stopped by Bill and Leslie's, the family I used to babysit for. The kids are in 6th and 9th grade now!!!

So glad we went...the night was a lot more fun than I expected and it was great getting to talk to old friends and relive a lot of the memories from 1998!

I love reunions. Actually mine is in two weeks. I think I'll go on a starvation diet prior to it. Remind me to do that when you see me at school! ha ha

I'm so glad you had fun. You make me almost want to go to my reunion...almost (if only it wasn't the weekend of Thanksgiving...stupid!).
