Tent Time
Jon went to watch the basketball games with the guys so Caiden and I built a fort in the living room and Caiden had a blast! We played Lego's, read books, and even ate dinner in the fort. I can foresee many forts in our future!!!

Last Day in Pflugerville!
Today we took Caiden to the park since the weather was SO amazing. Caiden had so much fun spending time with Aunt Casey and Grandma. He even had an early Easter Egg hunt! Our trip down south has been very exciting and eventful and although we'll be sad to go, we get to look forward to relaxing at home for a few days and wait for Aunt T.T. to come!

Bowling!!!
Today we took Caiden bowling for the first time. He LOVED it! Of course he used the bumpers and we put the balls on the "ramp" for him, but he got a kick out of pushing the ball down and watching it knock the pins. He even got TWO strikes in a row! And, he had a better score than me one of the games! Maybe I should have used the bumpers =)
Family Time in Taylor, TX
We drove down to Pflugerville to spend some time with Jon's mom for Spring Break. On Sat., we had a family get together over at Grandpa's house with some of Jon's extended family! Even though the weather was cold outside, we had a blast catching up with everyone! I ate WAY more than I should have (and of course, Caiden wouldn't eat...it wasn't his typical chicken nuggets, fish sticks, or grilled cheese!) but it was worth it!

Fort Worth Zoo
What a great Sunday! We decided to skip church this morning and take advantage of the gorgeous Texas weather and head out to the Fort Worth Zoo with our friends Matt, Jamey, & Addi and Jon, Chilet, & Austin. We had a blast looking at all the animals and just being outside! We took the kids on a carousal and train ride after eating a picnic lunch. We stopped at the ice cream parlor for a sweet treat: Caiden loved his chocolate ice cream! We weren't sure how Caiden would do without his normal nap at 12ish and were thinking he would fall asleep in the stroller but he was a trooper! After 5 1/2 hours of fun, he passed out within 2 minutes of being in the car on the way home!

Playdate!
Today Caiden and I had a playdate with two of my high school friends (technically elementary school!) Courtney "Smith" and Mandy "Blackall". Courtney and I had seen each other once for a playdate and then again at the reunion but I hadn't seen Blackall since our senior year! It was SO fun catching up and looking back at pictures of us from middle school. I can't believe we've known each other for over 20 years!!! Definitely will be meeting again for more of these "catching up" days and maybe even a night out with the guys too! Thanks for the pizza Court!!!

TAKS party!!!
After administering the TAKS test all day, everyone came over to relax and do anything but think about reading and writing! Our friend Amanda who worked with us last year came over with her little one, Ella and we were so excited to see her! The party lasted until 9 when we realized if we kept opening wine bottles, we'd never make it to school on Wednesday!!! The kids had a blast playing together (although Caiden was a little under the weather) and we had a great time listening to 90's music and eating MoRe pizza!!!

Wylie United Methodist Church
Today we transfered to a new church, Wylie United Methodist Church! We have been visiting for several months and really enjoy the people and how close it is to our house! Caiden has a great time playing in the nursery while we're at the church service. So, we thought it was time to officially make it our church. We loved being at Custer Road, but we weren't looking forward to the 25 minute drive once we got involved with Vacation Bible School and Youth group so we ventured out to find a church closer to home!
