Ms. Colleen, Caiden's Sunday School teacher, leads the children's choir groups at our church and now that Caiden is 3, she invited Caiden to come to choir. Of course, I didn't think he'd want to do it, but I was WRONG. He loved it! I'm sure it helped that he knew the teacher! He pitched a little fit when we left so hopefully he'll want to go back next weekend!

One Tube Out!
Caiden ended up staying home from school for a few days (we found out it was pneumonia) this week. At his Dr. appointment, Dr. Katz said both tubes were in. We went to the Steward's for the Dallas game and while C was sitting in my lap, I looked over and saw the tube in his right ear just sitting inside his ear. Chilet gave me a pair of tweezers and we pulled it out! The whole thing was surrounded with wax-poor kid can probably actually hear us now! We go back in two weeks for a pneumonia check-up, so Dr. Katz can see if the hole has closed...no water in the ear until then!

A Lazy Weekend
We spent much of the weekend doing nothing and I loved it! Usually I like to know what we need to get done but for once, I just went with it! Although we did get the house picked up, laundry done, and groceries bought, most of time was spent playing with Caiden and just taking it easy trying to stay warm from the unusual cold weather we have!
We decided to make a pallet on the floor by the fireplace on Sat. and camped out for dinner and the big Cowboy's game! Caiden loved it. Jon and I even put a movie on after the game and slept out in the living room! Gotta do things out of the normal to stay young!
Here's a captured moment from the football game...like father like son!

The Birthday Boy!
Caiden had a GREAT birthday today! It was his first day back to school in two weeks and he started it off right! He moved over to his new classroom and chose to take all of his new friends donut holes to help him celebrate his birthday. Daddy even got him a special donut for breakfast so he had donuts twice today!
For his birthday dinner, of course he chose to go to Chili's! He really wanted those chips and salsa! He got to help Bebe and Poppy finish their chocolate brownie sundae for dessert! There were a few gifts that he got to open after school and mommy even got her new Dyson today!
Happy Birthday Caiden! We love you!

Tractor Time
Caiden's 3rd birthday party was a success! Although some of his friends weren't able to make it, he still had a blast playing, eating cake, and opening presents! He was so excited to have so many tractors all over the house!
Playing pin the tail on the cow. Caiden cheated. He said, "Mom, I can't see it!" and then pulled off the scarf so he could get the tail on the cow!
Grandma!
Bebe and Poppy!
Aunt TT!
Opening presents! It's still way to overwhelming for him! He had great helpers though! All four kids were tearing through the tissue and wrapping paper!
CaKe TiMe! Tractor cake and all!
If you look closely, you can see green icing on Buster's head. He managed to find a trash bag left out on the back patio and discovered half eaten pieces of cake were pretty tasty!
The bounce house!
