We had been following the weather and knew we had a chance for some winter weather, but never did we expect to get Friday AND Monday off of school!!! Poor TT still went in to work but was able to spend some time with us on our private skating rink (the soccer field across the street) and go sledding down the hills too! We were even smart enough to get the kits for decorated gingerbread men before the ice actually came in!
On Sat, we invited some of our neighborhood friends (the Lyons, Van der Wouldes, Pearsons, and Riebschlagers) to join in on the fun. Everything had gotten really solid over night and we had a blast sliding around again!!! We all came back to the house for some hot chocolate, cookie decorating, and Wii!
